ABOUT ME

I am a freelance Sound Engineer, originally from London, but now based in the North West. I graduated from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2011 with a BA Hons. degree in Sound Technology, specialising in Live Sound. I found myself drawn to the world of theatre, though I do still do the odd concert or conference every now and again.

PRODUCTION ENGINEER

I am often found travelling around the UK and further afield as Production Sound Engineer for touring productions, installing and timing the show’s sound system in vastly different and often challenging venues. At the end of the run, we take it all back out again and move onto the next city!

SOUND DESIGN

I have recently been delving into the world of Sound Design, primarily as an associate, working alongside established designers to realise their creative ideas. This usually involves creating paperwork, working on sound effects and working with the Sound No. 1 during the busy production period.

SOUND OPERATOR

I started out my career as a sound operator on tour and in the West End. I worked on a number of different productions, and slowly climbed the ranks – I starting off fitting radio mics to performers as Sound No. 2/3 and now regularly work as Sound No. 1, primarily mixing the audio that the audience hears.
